Palermo, Minister Abodi on the Barbera stadium: "We will do our part"
News: Palermo, Minister Abodi on the Barbera stadium: "We will do our part" The urban regeneration process continues in the Borgo Nuovo district of Palermo, where the renovation of the church of San Paolo Apostolo has officially begun, included in the plan envisaged by the "Caivano Decree". As reported by colleagues at Ilovepalermocalcio. com, the minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, the mayor Roberto Lagalla, the archbishop Corrado Lorefice and the extraordinary commissioner Fabio Ciciliano participated in the laying of the first stone. During the event, Minister Abodi also spoke about the future of the Renzo Barbera stadium, a central theme for the city and for Palermo: "I believe that today we will do a small update which is essential to understand what the roadmap is and what the situation is also within the City Council and also the relationship with the region which, as you know, owns the area". The minister then underlined the Rosanero club's desire to invest in the facility: "It seems to me that the owners of Palermo and the company, the club, want to invest and therefore also improve that great infrastructure which represents a primary element of the city." And like all competitions, here the best win or win."
