News: Now the official announcement has also arrived. Dimitrios Nikolaou leaves Palermo and returns to Greece: the central defender was sold to OFI Crete on loan. The Rosanero club announced the operation through an official note, thus confirming the departure of the 1998 class, who had already played away from Sicily last season, wearing the Bari shirt. For Nikolaou it is a return to his homeland after seven years spent in Italian football, where he wore, among others, the shirts of Empoli, Spezia, Palermo and Bari. In the press release, Palermo wanted to greet the defender with a message of thanks: "Good luck to Dimitrios from the City Football Group, president Mirri and the entire Rosanero family."
