News: La Repubblica – Palermo: “Nuovo Barbera, resolution in the Chamber on Friday: race against time for Euro 2032”The countdown has begun. As the newspaper underlines, yesterday the mayor Roberto Lagalla summoned councilors and managers to resolve the critical issues that risked slowing down the process. The approval of the resolution is in fact crucial not only to keep Palermo among the candidates to host the 2032 European Championships, but also to safeguard the economic plan of the intervention. The new resolution, corrected in its technical and accounting aspects, will now be examined by the Budget, Urban Planning, Sports and Regulations commissions before arriving in the Chamber.
