Palermo, Pohjanpalo is 'satisfied' with Pablito: Adorante is the MVP…
News: Joel Pohjanpalo brings home the Pablito, but the MVP goes to another attacker. The Palermo striker ended the regular season as Serie B's top scorer with 24 goals, extraordinary numbers which, however, were not enough for him to win the best player of the tournament award, which was instead awarded to Andrea Adorante of Venezia, winner of the championship. A record season Pohjanpalo's statistics speak for themselves: 24 goals and 7 assists in 38 games, all as a starter except the last against Venezia. It is the second Pablito in his career for the Finn: he won the first in the 2023/24 season with the Venezia shirt, with 22 goals. The Italian, however, can boast another record: he is the only Italian to have achieved this, for a total of 32 goals in the two years.
