Palermo, record start: and Inzaghi's precedents hopefully
Thirteen points after five days, first place in the standings and a start that Palermo had never had since returned to Serie B. The team of Inzaghi left only two points on the street, the tie of Avellino, and has already put together a loot that projects it in a different dimension than the last seasons. A figure that takes even more value when compared to the recent past and with some previous ones of the same coach. From the return to Serie B, in fact, in the first five races Palermo had collected 7 points in 2022/23, 10 in 2023/24, 7 in 2024/25 and 11 in last season. The figure of 2023/24 however needs a clarification: the challenge against Brescia, initially scheduled for the second day, was postponed due to the re-admission of the rondinelle and Lecco and recovered only in November.
