Palermo-Sampdoria, Federclubs against the travel ban
The ban imposed on fans residing in Liguria ahead of Palermo-Sampdoria, a match scheduled for Monday at the Renzo Barbera, continues to be controversial. After the decision of the Palermo Prefecture, Federclubs also took a stand through a harsh statement published on their social profiles. «Palermo-Sampdoria: so much for safety!», we read at the beginning of the note, in which Federclubs above all focuses on the methods and times with which the away match was managed. «Another year, another absurd decision-making process made up of rebounds and conflicting opinions. And so, this season too, we have certain news about the away match – forbidden to residents in Liguria – of Palermo a few days before the match itself." Federclubs recalls what happened last year. The press release also recalls the precedent of last season and the intervention through two parliamentary questions by the Honorable Bagnasco and Pirondini. Federclubs criticizes the fact that, despite the promises to modify a process considered penalizing the supporters, this time too the final decision arrived close to the match.
