News: The municipal council approved the resolution declaring the public interest of the plant modernization project, marking a key step in the administrative process. At the same time, Palermo FC is already working on the PFTE (Technical-economic feasibility project), a fundamental document for structuring the intervention in line with the infrastructural and sporting objectives. The project also fits into the broader context of Palermo's candidacy among the host cities of Euro 2032, an opportunity that requires modern systems adapted to international standards. Mayor Roberto Lagalla commented on the transition as follows: «With the declaration of public interest we are giving a new and concrete acceleration to a project that has been awaited for years and is strategic for the future of the city. We continue with determination along a path that aims to provide Palermo with a modern, functional system capable of meeting international challenges."
