News: The preparation of Palermo, led by Filippo Inzaghi, continued today at the Torretta sports center in view of the next away match against Bari. Today’s session opened with an activation phase carried out in the gym, useful for preparing the muscles for work in the field. Subsequently, the Rosanero concentrated on specific exercises dedicated to the defensive phase, with particular attention to movements, synchronisms and reading of game situations. To close the training, a series of 4 against 4 small sided games using four cushions, high intensity exercises aimed at improving speed of execution, management of spaces and quality of possession under pressure. Palermo’s preparation will continue in the next few days with targeted sessions in view of the San Nicola match, an important event in the rosanero’s seasonal journey.
