Palermo, turnover in Venice but the goal is to catch Monza
News: La Repubblica – Palermo, turnover in Venice but the goal is to catch Monza. As Valerio Tripi explains on Repubblica, Palermo has already turned on the engine in view of the promotion play-offs. Tomorrow evening's match against Venezia, the last match of the championship, will serve above all as a preparatory stage for the double semi-final on 17 and 20 May, the real objective of Inzaghi's team. At Penzo – highlights Tripi in Repubblica – the most important thing will be to avoid injuries and get to the play-offs with the squad in the best physical condition. In attack the main doubt remains: Pohjanpalo could rest against his former player Venezia, with Le Douaron and Corona ready to take advantage of the opportunity. But it is difficult to imagine that Monza could suffer another defeat, after Mantua, even against Empoli, especially in front of their own fans.
