Palermo, what a start for Augello: goals, assists and a
A goal, an assist and an already leading performance: Tommaso Augello started in fifth. The number 3 started the season in an excellent way and had a hand in six of the fourteen goals scored by the Rosanero between the championship and the Italian Cup, despite having directly collected a goal and an assist in the first five official matches. His left-handedness is now a recognizable weapon. The five assists last season do not fully tell the story of the quality of his foot, especially considering that Augello was one of the players to have made the most crosses in the whole of Serie B. Yet another demonstration came against Sampdoria: in the 9th minute he drew a perfect trajectory for Strefezza, who only had to push the ball into the net. A play that confirms how valuable his foot can be even in a Palermo team that, compared to last season, looks for the cross from the lane less often.
