Magnani’s return to Sicily now allows the coach to further secure a department which, to date, represents the team’s strong point, as the numbers certify. Considering only the elements deployed by Inzaghi in the defensive trio, Palermo can count on a total of 565 appearances in the top division. The leader of this special ranking is the Polish Bereszynski, who has made 207 appearances in Serie A, enriched by the victory, albeit as a supporting player, of the scudetto with the Napoli shirt.
