News: Palermo's surprise coup could be in the management: Corvino puts forward the hypothesis. At Palermo, a sensational revolution could arrive in the management in the next few hours with the return to play of that Pantaleo Corvino who had decided to pull the plug and recharge after the five-year period at Lecce in which he had achieved a promotion to Serie A and four survivals in the top flight, reaching a historic milestone for the Salento club. An indiscretion that is becoming increasingly popular in the Rosanero environment and which in the next few hours could materialize into something more than an idea. Corvino as a turning point As we read in the online edition of the Corriere dello Sport, the Rosanero club is apparently thinking of the expert manager to give a turning point to the project which so far has not provided the satisfaction that the City Football Group, owner of Palermo, has so far failed to reap despite the fact that there has been no shortage of investments. The relationship with InzaghiCorvino is an admirer of the current Rosanero coach given that in 2023 he tried to bring him to Lecce but the courtship was not successful. Now in Palermo the manager could find him again and finally work alongside him to try to create a winning combination that can lead the Sicilian club to achieve promotion to Serie A which has always failed under City Group management until now.
