In the first seven seasons between the league and the Coppa Italia, Palermo has achieved a total of 17 goals, but 15 of them carry the signature of trequartists and attackers (including Johnsen, Pohjanpalo, Vavassori, Strefezza), while in the middle of the field the only one to have gone to sign was Ranocchia with the pearl from outside area to Arezzo. The 4-2-3-1 module by Filippo Inzaghi tends to limit the presence of the medians in the opponent's three-quarters, but for the future the rosanero technician aims to unlock even the midfielders by exploiting their skills in the insertions and in the throws from the distance. In this direction, Segre has often found himself close to the goal thanks to his timing in the insertions on the thread of the outgame, although not having yet stamped the tag in this first stage of season. A further contribution can be obtained from Mazzitelli, whose characteristics combine geometric order, shooting from the distance and sense of the insertions similar to those of Ranocchia. Empoli's transfer will be a first bench to see if the work done during the stop will also be found by other departments, offering Superpippo new offensive solutions.
