The Partinicaudace team has made official through a press release that it has hired the coach who grew up in the youth team Giacomo Filippi, who coached Palermo from 2020 to 2021. Born in Partinico on 27 October 1975, raised in the youth team of Partinicaudace, Giacomo Filippi, after a career as a footballer spent between Serie B and Serie C with the shirts of, among others, Marsala, Treviso, Taranto, Foggia, Gela and Trapani, began his career as a coach in 2013. He began managing Trapani Under 17, before becoming assistant coach to Roberto Boscaglia during his experiences with Brescia, Novara, Virtus Entella and Palermo, experiencing important seasons between Serie B and Serie C and winning the Lega Pro championship with the Ligurian club.
