Plan for Renzo Barbera: all the doubts and expenses
News: The plan for the redevelopment of the Renzo Barbera stadium is moving forward, but remains accompanied by several reservations. As reported by La Sicilia, the declaration of public interest was approved by the council, but the path towards the technical-economic feasibility plan will have to clarify above all the issue of future expenses to be borne by the Municipality. According to La Sicilia, the main findings come from the general accountant Bohuslav Basile, who in his accounting regularity opinion highlighted some points to be explored further. The doubts do not concern the current phase so much as the economic commitments that the administration may have to bear if the project were to go ahead. The redevelopment of Barbera could represent a strategic opportunity for Palermo in view of Euro 2032, but the Municipality will have to precisely clarify costs, revenues and future commitments.
