Ranocchia, optimism filters out about his recovery for the match…
News: In the 94th minute clash between Palermo and Cesena, things went decidedly worse for Klinsmann: the US goalkeeper suffered a fracture to the first cervical vertebra. The condition of the Rosanero midfielder had caused concern immediately after the match: Ranocchia touched his left knee and in the 40 seconds following the collision he showed difficulty running. The checks, however, did not reveal any significant injuries and there is optimism about his recovery in view of the match against Reggiana, scheduled for 25 April at 3pm. Ranocchia should be regularly available: an immovable cornerstone of Inzaghi's team, the midfielder has always played when he has been in a position to do so. At most he could start from the bench as a precaution, but there are no signs of a serious knee injury.
