News: News in the case concerning Manolo Portanova, a Reggiana footballer sentenced at first instance in 2021 for the matter linked to an alleged gang violence that occurred in Siena against a student. According to what was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Court of Appeal of Florence confirmed the first degree sentence, sentencing Portanova to six years in prison. A decision that sparked a harsh reaction from the footballer: “It's absurd – he declared – I've been living in an incredible situation for five years. The Court therefore confirmed the approach of the prosecution, which had requested the validation of the sentence already issued at first instance.
