Repubblica: “Palermo cannot be redeemed”
News: Palermo is unable to put the defeat in Monza behind them and stops at 2-2 against Juve Stabia. According to Massimo Norrito on la Repubblica Palermo, the Serie A dream now seems destined to pass through the play-offs, with Palermo slowing down their run just at the moment in which continuity was needed. After just ten minutes, Palermo found themselves behind due to the penalty converted by Leone, resulting from a contact between Joronen and Okoro judged to be a foul. Palermo, on the other hand, is struggling to build play: possession is sterile, ideas are scarce and opportunities come in dribs and drabs. As Massimo Norrito tells us again in La Repubblica Palermo, Palermo enters the pitch with a different attitude and manages to turn the game around in just a few minutes.
