News: Magnani’s return will not be Palermo’s only transfer operation according to the newspaper La Repubblica. Sports director Carlo Osti would be working to sign Rui Modesto from Udinese. “The Portuguese naturalized Angolan is fresh from the Africa Cup of Nations, a competition in which he made just one appearance against Egypt,” we read. The midfielder made a total of 23 appearances in Friuli, 20 last season. Dennis Johnsen, however, would remain on pole as Brunori’s replacement.
