Repubblica: “Stadiums, the round-robin competition, everyone dreams…
News: Italy continues its journey towards Euro 2032, but the path is still full of unknowns. As Repubblica highlights, after the delivery of the dossiers to the FIGC on 31 July, by 1 October Giovanni Malagò will have to indicate to UEFA the five stadiums that will host the tournament organized together with Turkey. Palermo is not missing in the race, which continues to cultivate the ambition of hosting a European Championship match thanks to the Renzo Barbera redevelopment project promoted by the City Football Group. Repubblica's analysis underlines how the majority of projects are still far from the implementation phase, with tight deadlines and numerous bureaucratic obstacles to overcome. In addition to sporting prestige, hosting Euro 2032 represents an important economic opportunity: according to estimates reported, each selected city could benefit from an impact close to a billion euros, within an event capable of generating between 3 and 4 billion euros overall.
