Schifani pays homage to Alessia at Renzo Barbera
News: Even the president of the Sicilian Region Renato Schifani wanted to pay homage to little Alessia, the young Rosanero fan who passed away after a long battle with the disease. Returning from Rome, where he had taken part in some institutional meetings, and before reaching Palazzo d'Orléans, the governor of Sicily went to the Renzo Barbera to visit the chapel of rest set up inside the stadium. A gesture of great closeness towards the little girl's family and the entire Rosanero community, deeply affected by the passing of Alessia, nicknamed "the warrior" by the Palermo fans who in recent years have never stopped supporting and encouraging her in her fight against the incurable disease she faced for seven years.
