Serie B, Arezzo-Palermo 2-3: Johnsen opens, Augello
A cardio-format finale that summarizes all the unpredictability of football in ninety-five minutes. Pippo Inzaghi's Palermo won three golden points on the pitch of an indomitable Arezzo, winning 3-2 thanks to a ballistic invention by Augello in full injury time. An exhilarating victory for the pinks, which however leaves more than one alarm bell on the table for a management of the double advantage bordering on sporting suicide. Rosanero domination and Johnsen's flash. The start of the match sees Arezzo starting with a knife between their teeth. Bucchi's team imposes a suffocating pressing, but Palermo shows maturity, taking the blow and waiting for the right moment to strike.
