Serie B, bad weather alert in Calabria: Catanzaro postponed
News: The playoff clash between Catanzaro and Modena, originally scheduled for Tuesday 17 March at 8pm, will not be played due to bad weather. The second match of the midweek Serie B program, which would have seen the two teams on stage in advance, is skipped. The decision was taken following a specific ordinance from the mayor following the weather alert in the Calabrian province, which ordered the closure of all sports facilities. The forecasts, in fact, indicate the continuation of intense rainfall and thunderstorms also for tomorrow 17 March. The match has therefore been postponed to a date to be determined, with the two teams returning to the field as usual on Saturday 21 March, waiting for the Serie B league to find a new date and time for the match.
