Serie B, double fine for Palermo: 6 thousand euros in
The Serie B Sports Judge has announced the decisions relating to the last round of the championship. Among the sanctioned clubs is Palermo, which will have to pay a total of 6,000 euros: 4,000 euros for the throwing of a glass bottle and two plastic bottles onto the pitch by its supporters and another 2,000 euros for the delay of approximately two minutes in the start of the second half. Fines also for Avellino and Modena, fined 4,000 euros each, and for Arezzo, sanctioned with 3,000 euros. As for the players, the Sports Judge has issued two one-match suspensions. These are Julian Illanes of Arezzo, for having committed a foul on an opponent in possession of a clear scoring opportunity, and Antonio Prisco of Benevento, stopped for a double yellow card: one for incorrect behavior towards an opponent and one for improper behavior on the pitch.
