Serie B: Palermo draws a draw against Genoa, the Rosanero five points…
News: Palermo snatched a very heavy draw at the last minute in Genoa against Sampdoria and remain fully in the running for the top of Serie B. A late goal allows the Rosanero to reach 45 points. A point that is worth double if you look at the other fields: leaders Venezia, in fact, are currently trailing in the home match against Modena. A situation that makes the result obtained by Palermo even more significant, which thus moves to just five points from first position, reopening important scenarios in the fight for direct promotion. The comeback achieved in Genoa is the sign of a mature team, capable of not giving up and of striking even in the most complicated moments. With the championship still long and many direct clashes on the horizon, Palermo is sending a clear message to its rivals: the rosanero are there and intend to play their ambitions to the end.
