Serie B, Palermo-Sampdoria 3-1: rosanero alone in the
Night of celebration at the "Renzo Barbera" where Palermo won three golden points by beating Sampdoria 3-1 in the postponement of the third day of Serie B. The rosanero led the match with a first half of the highest level and resisted the Sampdoria's return in the second half, definitively closing the score in injury time. First Half: Rosanero domination Palermo immediately started very strong, driven by the warmth of the home crowd. Just 9 minutes were enough to break the deadlock: Gabriel Strefezza invents a classy play to beat the opposing goalkeeper (goal immediately confirmed by the VAR check) to make it 1-0. Sampdoria struggled to react and in the 18th minute ended up in the grip of the Rosanero's competitive spirit, receiving two yellow cards in quick succession with Henderson and Insigne. Palermo's second goal is in the air and arrives promptly in the 33rd minute: center forward Joel Pohjanpalo takes advantage of the opportunity and scores the 2-0 goal with which the teams go to the locker rooms at the end of an entirely pink first half.
