News: The Serie B League has formalized the dates and times of the promotion playoffs and any playouts for the 2025/2026 season. Palermo, already secured in fourth place, will enter the scene directly in the semi-final, thus avoiding the preliminary round. The return to the Renzo Barbera is set for Wednesday 20 May at 8.00 pm. Palermo is now waiting to know their opponent, who will emerge from the preliminary round match scheduled for Tuesday 12 May at 9.00 pm between the fifth and eighth of the regular season. At the moment, eighth place is occupied by Avellino, while the definitive grid will be completed after the last day of the championship.
