News: Serie B Playoffs, Palermo-Catanzaro 2-0: the Rosanero comeback stops one step away, first historic final for the Giallorossi. Catanzaro wins a very difficult playoff final against Monza, but the return semi-final of the "Renzo Barbera" ends in the worst possible way in terms of public order. Palermo won 2-0 and cherished the dream of a sensational comeback for a long time, but dropped out of the draw due to the heavy knockout in the first leg. Inzaghi's team approaches the match with impressive ferocity: in the 3rd minute Pohjanpalo takes advantage of a defensive indecision following Palumbo's cross and scores the 1-0. In the 89th minute Barbera becomes bedlam: Rui Modesto scores the 2-0 on an assist from Ranocchia, bringing Palermo to just one goal from extra time. The final forcing, with ten men due to the expulsion of Pierozzi in the 93rd minute, is not enough: the Giallorossi resist and fly to the last act where they will face Monza.
