News: Serie B is already looking to next season and, in the last Lega meeting held in Milan, important news emerged which will concern all the clubs in the championship, including Palermo. The compilation of the program for the new Serie B could in fact be postponed compared to previous years, with the draws expected approximately in the last week of July. The assembly chaired by Paolo Bedin approved the new economic regulation which will gradually come into force until the 2027/28 season. The objective is to control expenses related to the salaries of players, coaches and technical staff, introducing increasingly stringent sustainability mechanisms. A reward system is also foreseen: the clubs that respect the economic parameters will be able to benefit from the redistribution of resources coming from the clubs that exceed the established limits.
