Sicily: "Palermo, six games without stain: for 23 years
A start of season that Palermo had not lived for over 20 years. The rosanero of Filippo Inzaghi are still unbeaten between the Italian Championship and the Italian Cup and have built a positive strip that brings back in time until the 2003/04 season. As Salvatore Orifici points out on the Giornale di Sicilia, in order to find an equally positive start, we must go back twenty-three years ago. Palermo started the season by collecting results from the first official releases. In the Italian Cup they arrived 2-0 against Lecce and 5-2 against Mantua, a success that allowed the rosanero to conquer the access to the eighth finals and the possibility to go to Bologna to play the passage to the quarters.
