The City Group "consoles" itself with Troyes: the French in Serie A…
News: There is a sister team of Palermo and part of the City Group universe that is celebrating direct promotion to the top division: Troyes is promoted to Ligue 1 with two matchdays to spare. The overwhelming 0-3 away victory in the direct clash against Saint Etienne was decisive. A story that is sensational that of the French club owned by the group led by Mansour: just two seasons ago the Azzurri were in fact relegated to the French Serie C and with the fans in full dispute with the Anglo-Arab management. The season ended with a pitch invasion, clashes and smoke bombs in the match that had confirmed the mathematical relegation. Then came the repechage due to the "disappearance" of Bordeaux, a historic French club that put an end to its history with the failure to register for the championship and a season as an extra with a quiet tenth place in the standings.
