News: Municipal field of Torretta, work finally ready to restart Almost five months have passed, it was 5 October last year, when the mayor of Torretta, Damiano Scalici, with a post on his Facebook profile declared: “If anyone thought that we had forgotten about the sports field… well, they are wrong. For about a month it has been my first thought every morning. Work times The works for the completion of the municipal pitch of Torretta, adjacent to the Palermo sports centre, are therefore ready to start and the times for the construction of the facility will be communicated in the next few days when the timetable will be illustrated. For the next sports season the municipal field will be ready: it is my personal commitment. Let’s hope that this is the right time and that the municipal camp of Torretta will return to being a reality that has been mired in the intricacies of bureaucracy for too long.
