Towards Palermo-Catanzaro: the CASMS prohibits travel to residents in…
News: The Analysis Committee for the Safety of Sports Events (CASMS) expressed its opinion on the sale of tickets for the Palermo-Catanzaro match, establishing a purchase ban for residents in the province of Catanzaro. The decision comes after the National Observatory on Sports Events had referred the evaluation to the CASMS, which then invited the Prefect of Palermo, in agreement with the Police Commissioner, to consider this restriction. The measure represents the first official limitation for visiting fans. However, a possible extension of the ban to supporters not resident in the province remains uncertain. The final decision will be taken by the Security Operational Group (GOS), expected to meet shortly, where the final organizational details will be defined, including the possible closure or opening of the guest sector.
