News: In the report cards published by Tuttosport after Catanzaro's clear 3-0 win over Palermo in the Serie B playoff semi-final first leg, the great protagonist is inevitably Pietro Iemmello. According to Tuttosport, Alberto Aquilani's team dominated Palermo in every area of the pitch, deserving very high marks especially for the offensive department and the tactical organization shown throughout the match. Excellent ratings also for Liberali, Cassandro and Petriccione, protagonists of a very high level performance. On the Palermo front, however, Tuttosport heavily rejected Filippo Inzaghi's team, which appeared fragile, slow and incapable of reacting to Catanzaro's blows. CATANZARO (3-4-2-1)Pigliacelli 6; Cassandro 7; Antonini 6.5; Brighenti 6.5; Favasuli 6; Petriccione 6.5; Pontisso 6.5 (31' st Pompetti ng); Alesi 6 (39' st Rispoli ng); Liberali 7 (31' st Frosinini ng); Iemmello 9 (39' st Di Francesco ng); Pittarello 6.
