Tuttosport: "Palermo already alone. Samp fights"
Palermo is alone in the Serie B standings. After three days the rosanero have full points and Renzo Barbera can celebrate by singing «The league leaders are leaving». Filippo Inzaghi's team beat Sampdoria 3-1, even if they had to suffer again to win their third consecutive championship victory. Luigi Butera recounts the challenge on the pages of Tuttosport. As Butera highlights on Tuttosport, for the third consecutive match between the championship and the Italian Cup, Palermo manages to take the double lead without immediately finding the knockout blow. This time the rosanero did not suffer a comeback and managed to maintain the advantage until Palumbo's goal which, in the final, definitively closed the game.
