News: Palermo continues to be one of the most active clubs ahead of the official opening of the summer transfer market. As reported by Tuttosport, the Rosanero club is working both to strengthen the squad available to Filippo Inzaghi and to define some possible exit operations. After the confirmation of Carlo Osti in the role of sporting director and with Jesse Joronen close to a contract renewal, Palermo is looking for a reliable and experienced deputy. Tuttosport reports that two Palermo players could end up in Avellino's sights. Empoli's corporate situation also remains in the background, with a US fund reportedly taking concrete steps to acquire the Tuscan club.
