Palermo passes the first major examination of the season and sends a signal to the direct competitors. The victory for 2-0 on the field of Mantua confirms the strength of the team of Filippo Inzaghi, able to impose itself in a direct confrontation and consolidate the primacy in Serie B. A success that takes on a particular significance compared to the past season, when precisely the challenges against rivals represented one of the main weak points of the rosanero. As Massimo Norrito points out on Palermo, Inzaghi's training has proven to be a different team, more mature and equipped to deal with the difficulties. With six wins in the first seven days and one draw, conquered against the Avellino, Palermo continues to grind results and records. After the success of the Martelli, the advantage over Mantua rose to five points, waiting for the other games of the day.
