Verona flies to the round of 16 of the Italian Cup
Hellas Verona's journey in the Frecciarossa Italian Cup continues in the best possible way. The Venetian team qualified for the round of 16 by winning 2-1 on the Cagliari pitch, in the Domus Arena. With this result, Verona becomes the second team from Serie B to reach this stage of the competition, an achievement which confirms the good condition of the team at this start of the season. At the final whistle, the Gialloblù coach Marco Baroni appeared in front of Mediaset's microphones to comment on his team's performance, focusing both on the technical aspects of the match and on future prospects in view of the demanding cadet championship.
