"We want respect, very small management"
The defeat against Palermo doesn't go down well with Sampdoria, but sporting director Américo Branco doesn't look for excuses and recognizes the merits of the rosanero. After the match, however, the Sampdoria manager pointed the finger at the direction of match director Marchetti, speaking of a management that would have ended up making the team nervous. "We want some respect for Sampdoria. We know what Palermo represents, but we also know what Sampdoria is. We didn't lose because of the referee, we lost because we didn't score a goal.
