White smoke for Barbera: the city council says yes to the agreement

News: «We express our thanks to the Presidency of the city council, to the General Secretary, to the General Accountant, to all the city councilors and to the offices of the Authority for the work carried out which allowed the approval of the resolution relating to the new agreement between the Municipality of Palermo and Palermo FC for the redevelopment and management of the Renzo Barbera stadium» . This was jointly declared by Mayor Roberto Lagalla and Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Budget and Heritage Brigida Alaimo – "We would like to address first of all the city and the many Rosanero fans because the vote expressed today represents a step of great importance for the future of the Renzo Barbera stadium and, more generally, for the development of our city. In fact, the approval of the resolution also allows us to respect the deadlines set for the presentation of the documentation requested by the FIGC as part of the facility's candidacy for Euro 2032, a strategic opportunity that Palermo intends to pursue with determination in the interest of the entire community".
