Who is Hernani, the new Palermo midfielder
News: Palermo has scored its third transfer coup. Born in São Gonçalo do Sapucaí in Brazil on 27 March 1994, Hernani grew up in the youth ranks of Atletico Paranaense. Afterwards, between 2014 and 2019, he made his debut with Atletico Paranaense and played for Zenit and Saint Etienne. Hernani is a very flexible midfielder: in his career he has covered all the midfield roles, covering defensive and interdiction roles, up to moving to a more offensive area of the pitch. For example, in the last part of the season with Monza he played in the attacking midfield, being decisive in terms of goals and assists.
