Who is Tommaso Cassandro, the new defender of Palermo
News: Palermo has pulled off another transfer coup. This is Tommaso Cassandro, a defender born in 2000 who arrived from Como after spending the last season on loan at Catanzaro. Born in Dolo on 9 January 2000, Cassandro grew up in the youth sectors of Padua, Venice and Bologna, with which he won the Viareggio Tournament in 2019. In January 2023 the call came from Lecce, with whom he also debuted in Serie A, before moving to Como. Fresh from a positive season with Catanzaro, Cassandro arrives with the desire to make a further leap in quality and put his versatility at the service of the rosanero.
