
Serie B, Juve Stabia – Entella will be played behind closed doors: the motivation
News: The match between Juve Stabia and Entella, valid for the 21st day of the Serie B championship, will be played behind closed doors. The decision was taken by the Prefecture of Naples following the riots that occurred on January 10th at the end of the match between Juve Stabia and Pescara. The provision was adopted following the determination of the Analysis Committee for the Safety of Sporting Events and on the compliant proposal of the Naples Police Headquarters and is added to the travel ban until the end of the season for ‘Vespa’ fans, already ordered by the Ministry of the Interior, which further tightened the sanction by extending the previous three months of suspension inflicted for the same episodes. The note from Juve StabiaLa S. S. Juve Stabia 1907 announces that the Juve Stabia-Entella match, valid for the twenty-first day, second return leg, of the Serie BKT championship, will be played behind closed doors as per communication from the prefecture of Naples following determination no. 4 of 20 January 2026 requested by the Casms (Analysis Committee for the Safety of Sports Events), in which measures were requested following the serious disturbances which occurred on 10 January 2026 at the end of the Juve Stabia-Pescara match. The Prefect has therefore ordered that the Juve Stabia-Virtus Entella match, scheduled for Saturday 24 January 2026 at 3.00 pm at the “Romeo Menti” stadium, will be played behind closed doors.
