News: The administrative process for the redevelopment project of the Renzo Barbera stadium continues. As reported by the Giornale di Sicilia, the mayor Roberto Lagalla has convened a new session of the preliminary services conference dedicated to the restructuring plan presented by the Palermo Football Club. According to what was explained by the Giornale di Sicilia, the appointment is set for 11 March 2026 at 3.30 pm at Palazzo Palagonia and represents an important step after the first phase of analysis of the project. On that occasion, as the Giornale di Sicilia reconstructs, various bodies had sent observations and requests for integration on the documentation presented by the rosanero club. Again according to what was reported by the Giornale di Sicilia, the Monte Pellegrino Oriented Nature Reserve also asked for clarifications on the project documentation, while the Superintendence expressed conditional approval with respect to the project presented.
