News: Padova is holding on to the return of its most representative man in the most delicate moment of the season. As Stefano Volpe points out in Il Mattino di Padova, Papu Gomez's return comes after a month and a half out and coincides with a crucial match against Palermo. «The biggest mistake would be to call him the savior of the country», writes Stefano Volpe in Il Mattino di Padova, but at the same time it is difficult not to think that his return could give a jolt to a team in obvious difficulty. As Stefano Volpe reports in Il Mattino di Padova, with Gomez on the pitch the average expected goals was higher than 1 per game, while without him it dropped drastically. In a moment of difficulty, Padova needs personality and quality, characteristics that Papu Gomez can guarantee.
