La Nazione: "Arezzo-Palermo 2-3, torment and ecstasy
An evening awaited for 19 years, which ended with a bitter defeat but also with the enthusiastic applause of the entire municipal council. Arezzo's return in front of its own fans in Serie B turns into a real party in the stands: sold out and around eight thousand spectators for the match against Palermo. As reported by La Nazione, the atmosphere of a great event can already be felt long before the kick-off. From 5pm, with the opening of the gates, long queues form at the pre-filtering and many supporters reach Viale Gramsci well in advance. The Comunale wears the Serie B outfit. Even inside the stadium, the innovations linked to the jump in category are evident, from the new illuminated scoreboards to the giant screen.
