Ascoli, defender Rizzo armored: he has signed the

Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC has announced, through its official channels, that it has reached an agreement for the extension of the contract with Nicholas Rizzo, a central defender born in 2000 who has been wearing the black and white shirt since 2025. The new agreement ties the player to the Marche club until 2028, with a clause that provides for the possibility of further extending the relationship for a further season. The decision of the Ascoli management comes a few months after the historic promotion to Serie B achieved by the team, a goal to which Rizzo contributed significantly, making a total of 23 appearances during the year. A performance which, as underlined by the club, represented one of the key elements of the journey that led the Bianconeri to celebrate the jump in category. The bond between the player and the club was not interrupted with the change of category: in this start to the season in the cadetteria, in fact, Rizzo took to the pitch as a starter in all three matches played by Ascoli so far, confirming himself as an essential element of the defensive chessboard entrusted to the technical staff.
