Criniti: "Palermo is from another planet, but if Inzaghi
Antonio Criniti, former striker who wore the shirts of Avellino and Palermo, presents the Partenio-Lombardi challenge. Interviewed by Il Mattino di Avellino, the former footballer spoke about the moment of the green and whites, the suggestion of James Rodriguez, the singles available to Alessandro Nesta and above all the comparison with the rosanero team. Starting from the failed negotiation for James Rodriguez, Criniti explained to Il Mattino di Avellino: «It made the fans dream and confirmed the solidity, ambition and strength of Angelo D'Agostino's club: now we don't have to think about what could have been and wasn't if the Colombian number 10 had arrived, but just concentrate on the pitch. Avellino has not been at the center of such a serious and long-lasting project for some time: after Naples it remains the most important and prestigious square in all of Campania." The opinion on the team coached by Nesta was also positive: «I saw all three matches and I must say that beyond the slip-up with Arezzo, perhaps there was an unconscious underestimation, I liked Avellino.
