Il Gazzettino di Venezia: “Penzo dresses up for the last match…
News: As reported by Il Gazzettino di Venezia, the match between Venice and Palermo on 8 May at the Penzo will not be the feared "final promotion", but rather a celebratory parade for the lagoon players already promoted to Serie A. According to what was reported by Il Gazzettino di Venezia, the great fear of the orange-green environment was precisely that of risking everything on the last day against a Palermo team full of former players. A scenario that however did not materialize, transforming the race into a night of celebration, with the aim of also taking first place. Inzaghi's words also find space in the piece from Il Gazzettino di Venezia: «I congratulate Venezia and Stroppa because they had a truly important championship. The newspaper also highlights the growth path of Segre, now leader of Palermo, after his experience with Venezia. It will therefore be a challenge with contrasting meanings: celebration for Venezia, playoff dress rehearsal for Palermo.
