News: Promotion to Serie A has already been achieved, but Venezia wants to complete the job in front of their fans. According to what was reported by Marco De Lazzari in Il Gazzettino di Venezia, Venezia arrives at the final day with a three-point advantage over Frosinone and with the real possibility of finishing the championship ahead of everyone after having led the standings for 16 days. The Gazzettino di Venezia, through the analysis of Marco De Lazzari, underlines how the one obtained last Friday in La Spezia was the fifth promotion to Serie A of the unionist era, but with a particular fact: Venezia almost never finished the cadet tournament as leaders. Marco De Lazzari recalls in Il Gazzettino di Venezia the promotion of 1960/61 won by the team led by Carlo Alberto Quario and driven by the goals of Gino Raffin, as well as that of 1965/66 under the guidance of Armando Segato. The Gazzettino di Venezia highlights how Novellino's Venezia in 1997/98 finished second behind Salernitana, while Prandelli's in 2000/01 finished fourth.
